Kyle Cohlmia is a writer, art administrator, and educator living in Portland, OR. She currently works as the content writer for the B2B cybersecurity startup BARR Advisory. At BARR, Kyle writes, designs, and produces the organization’s content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, YouTube videos, podcasts, email campaigns, newsletters, and website copy.
Kyle’s career background is in the humanities—she’s worked in various educational spaces as well as museums and galleries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in art history and Italian with a minor in English from the University of Kansas and a master’s in critical studies from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Her writing skills span from technical to creative, and she’s written on subjects such as security and compliance auditing, cybersecurity automation, art criticism and reviews, and historical events.
As a mission-driven team player, Kyle has proven her ability to engage effectively within diverse cultural contexts.
